Liner plates are used to protect the mill shell from direct impact and friction from grinding media and materials. They can also be used to adjust the movement of the grinding media through different liner plate designs, thereby enhancing the grinding effect on the materials, improving grinding efficiency, increasing output, and reducing metal consumption.

 

The selection of various liner plates mainly considers the lifting effect on the grinding media, the trajectory of the media, and the operating conditions.

When the primary function is crushing, the liner plates require strong lifting capabilities for the grinding media, and should also possess good impact resistance. High manganese steel ZGMn13 has sufficient impact toughness, but it is not wear-resistant and easily deforms. Most applications now use alloy steel or chromium-molybdenum alloy steel liner plates with a dual-medium quenching process. Comparing several wear-resistant materials, alloy steel with a dual-medium quenching process offers the best performance and longest service life. The medium-carbon low-alloy liner plates produced by Anhui Fengxing have a high cost-performance ratio, and their wear resistance and toughness are outstanding during use.
