Our Laser Cladding Cold Bed Input Roller Conveyor is a high-performance solution for small and medium-sized bar rolling lines. Each roller is crafted using advanced laser cladding technology, where a layer of tungsten carbide alloy is precisely fused onto the surface. This process dramatically improves wear resistance, high-temperature tolerance, corrosion resistance, and impact strength, making it capable of handling an impressive steel throughput of up to 600,000 tons without losing performance.
These rollers are mainly used at the transition point between the finishing mill exit and the cold bed entry. Their role is simple but critical: they receive hot-rolled billets from the finishing mill and guide them smoothly onto the cold bed, either matching the mill's speed or slightly slowing it down to ensure safe, steady transport. This not only protects the billets but also helps maintain the rolling line's efficiency and stability.
The rollers feature a solid 45# steel base for high structural strength, while the tungsten carbide cladding layer provides a surface that is up to seven times more wear-resistant than conventional rollers. Each roller is carefully sized with an outer diameter of 210mm, inner diameter of 186mm, and length of 200mm, with the cladded layer matching these dimensions for optimal performance.
